I did not get the confirmation email.

Check your spam folder first. Then sign in and use “Send the link again” on your account page.

I forgot my password.

Use the password reset form. We send a link to the email address on the account.

Can I change my scene name?

Yes, on your account page.

Who can message me?

Nobody, until you choose otherwise. Your account page has five settings, from “No one can message me” to “Any member may message me directly”. Anyone you block is blocked whatever the setting says.

Is my email address shown to anyone?

No. It is used to sign in and to reach you, and it is never shown to other members.

What location does the site show?

A city, a region and a country, if you enter them. Never an address and never a point on a map.

Reporting

How do I report someone?

Use the reporting form. You do not need an account. If somebody is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. Just Ties is not an emergency service.

Will the member know I reported them?

No. We do not tell a member who reported them, and a copy of their own data does not include it.

What happens after I report?

A person reads it. If you gave an email address, you get a reference number, and later a message saying whether we acted. We do not tell you what happened to another member’s account.

Your data

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Use “Send me a copy of my data” on your account page. We email you a link to confirm, and the copy follows.

How do I delete my account?

Use “Delete my account and my data” on your account page. It cannot be undone. The page lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
