About Just Ties

Just Ties is a community platform for adults who practise shibari and rope: riggers, models, switches, teachers, and people who are new to it. Members post listings, find events, and contact each other on terms each of them sets.

What it is not

• Not an agency. Just Ties does not arrange, supervise or vet meetings, and it does not check who members are.
• Not a marketplace. Listings have no price field, and commercial sexual services are not allowed.
• Not an arbiter. We enforce the site’s rules on the site. We do not decide what happened between people, and we are not a substitute for the police or a court. Why we do not adjudicate.
• Not a public gallery. Nudity and explicit content are hidden by default, and explicit content is shown only after an age check.

How it is run

• The rules are public and the same for every member: the community guidelines and the terms.
• Reports are read by a person, within a set time limit.
• When we restrict an account, the member is told why, privately, and how to ask for the decision to be reviewed.
• We do not tell a member who reported them.
• Blocking, reporting and contact settings are free on every account, and they will stay free.
